myHRinfo outage resolved - March 28

What is happening? myHRinfo experienced an outage and was unavailable to all users between 8:52 and 9:55 p.m.

Service has now been restored and users should be able to access the system.

Switchboard System Upgrade – April 4

What is happening? Outdated switchboard hardware is being replaced with a software solution.

When is this happening? Tuesday, April 4 at 8:00 a.m.

What is the impact? Switchboard services may be slower than expected as operators adjust to the new process. No other impact is expected.

Resolved: WatIAM issues - March 28

RESOLVED: The issues with the WatIAM system were resolved as of 9:10 a.m. this morning. Users should now be able to access the system without issue.

What is happening: We are currently experiencing issues with the WatIAM system.  IST is investigating the issue and hope to have it resolved shortly.

UWaterloo Scholar upgrade - March 28

What is happening? UWaterloo Scholar (https://uwaterloo.ca/scholar) is being upgraded to 1.0.

Why is this happening? This is the full release of UWaterloo Scholar and adds new features and functionality, fixes some known issues, and introduces some theming changes from the beta release. Release notes are available at https://uwaterloo.ca/web-resources/news/uwaterloo-scholar-10-release

Update: WCMS and Drupal upgrade – March 16

UPDATE: The upgrade of WCMS responsive “FDSU” websites, single page sites and conference sites to Drupal 7.54 and WCMS version 2.4.1 is taking longer than originally anticipated.

An additional maintenance window has been added to complete the upgrade on Monday, March 27 from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28.

What you need to do before the upgrade begins: If you have a responsive, single page, or conference site, please log out of your site and do not work on your site during this upgrade window. Sites will remain available to site visitors during the upgrade window.
