What happened? The issues that were preventing users from connecting to the MatLAB server have been resolved. Users should now be able to access the service as expected. We apologize for the inconvenience.
When did this happen? Users began reporting issues at approximately 9:30 a.m. and it was resolved as of 11:00 a.m.
UPDATE: The redirection to the autodiscover.uwaterloo.ca server is part of a normal process for email clients to retrieve the information it requires. Users should check the box “Always use my response for this server” and click “Allow” if the dialogue window pops up on their computer. It is possible that it will continue to pop up in the future.
IST is working with Microsoft to determine the cause and possible solution.
