External email delivery delay issues resolved - December 2

What is happening? Emails from external email addresses were not being delivered to UW email addresses due to a Proofpoint configuration change. 

  • This affected email messages from RT, LEARN, and other services outside of Exchange/O365 sent today between 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • The Proofpoint configuration change was rolled back at 11:30 a.m., which allowed the delayed messages to be delivered successfully.

No messages were dropped or bounced. All delayed emails should now be delivered to the intended recipient.
