IT Service Desk holiday hours

Closures:

  • DC service desk is open until Thursday, December 21 at 8:30 p.m.
  • DP service desk is open until Thursday, December 21 at 8:30 p.m.
  • V1 service desk is open until Friday, December 22 at 4:30 p.m.
  • Claudette Millar hall service desk is open until Friday, December 22 at 4:30 p.m.
  • EC2 service desk is open until Friday, December 22 at 4:30 p.m.

Reopen:

  • The V1 and Claudette Millar Hall service desks will reopen on Monday, January 1 at 12:30 p.m. (for move in).
  • All other IT service desks will return to normal hours of operation on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Reporting IT service issues over the holiday break

IST will monitor the service desk phone (519-888-4357) for any messages and will also check for requests (rt@uwaterloo.ca) and helpdesk email (helpdesk@uwaterloo.ca) over the Christmas break for urgent items that need to be addressed.

Please note only critical requests, such as a network outage, will be handled. Requests, such as password problems, will be processed in the usual manner once the University re-opens on January 2.
