What is being done? Mailservices (the servers for student email) are being removed from service for maintenance/updates. Individual servers will be taken out of service between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm during the 2 day maintenance window.
Why is it being done? To keep the software current with vendor-provided updates.
When is it being done? Monday, December 22 & Tuesday, December 23 (8:00 am - 4:30 pm).
Who will it impact? Student mailboxes may go offline for short periods of time but no email will be lost. Anyone actively connected to a server when it is removed for maintenance may be prompted to enter their username and password. No other impact is anticipated as the remaining servers will continue to carry out email.
