Resolved - Issue setting options in OWA

This issue was resolved as of 11am today.


What is happening? One of the four servers providing Connect web email access (OWA) is experiencing issues processing account “Options”.

How does this impact you? Anyone connected to this server who tries to update the options on their account will get a message indicating “Sorry! We’re having trouble processing your request right now. Please try again in a few minutes.” If you get this message, please log out of OWA and log back in again.

What is being done? IST has isolated the problematic server and it will not accept any new connections. Existing connections to this server will be maintained so that those using the email and calendar functions will not see a service interruption. A server restart is planned for 10 p.m. tonight, at which point any remaining connections will be dropped.
