What is happening? Due to a recent certificate update on our Skype systems it was required for us to push a root GlobalSign certificate to IP phones through our provisioning server.
What is the impact? Some users are reporting that they are unable to sign into their Polycom VVX IP phone stating that it is stuck at logging in.
How do I know if I have a Polycom VVX IP phone? The Polycom logo will be at the top of the phone, above the screen.
How can I resolve this? The configuration update has been applied to the server and will require you to reboot the phone by unplugging the network cable from the back and plugging it back in. Upon startup your account should now sign in without issues.
