Two-factor authentication (2FA) for WatIAM Help Desk Administrators - August 1

What is happening? Two-factor authentication (2FA) is being enabled for WatIAM Help Desk Administrators.
 
Why is this happening? To continue to ensure the integrity of accounts and identity data at Waterloo.
 
When is this happening? After 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
 
What do users need to do? Help Desk Administrators will require a 2FA account by August 1.
 
  • I am already enrolled in 2FA. No user action is required.
Please note, once you have a 2FA account you will receive authentication prompts for applications that provide opt-in 2FA support. For a list of these applications, or to learn more about 2FA at Waterloo, visit https://uwaterloo.ca/2fa
