Update: 2016 Exchange upgrade – February 22

UPDATE: The upgrade to 2016 Exchange has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 14 at 7:00 a.m.

What is happening? Connect users will now see the 2016 Exchange Logon page when using Outlook Web access. 2016 Exchange will be handling all client connectivity. Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online support the following versions of Outlook:

  • Outlook 2016
  • Outlook 2013
  • Outlook 2010 with KB2965295
  • Outlook for Mac for Office 365
  • Outlook for Mac 2011

Please note: Outlook clients earlier than Outlook 2010 are not supported. Email clients on Mac operating systems that require DAV, such as Entourage 2008 for Mac RTM and Entourage 2004, are not supported.

When is this happening? Wednesday, February 22 at 8:00 a.m.

What is the impact? It will be necessary for mail clients and Outlook Web access users to re-authenticate. No other impact is expected.
