The Media Library is located in the basement of the Math and Computer (MC) building and houses a collection of approximately 9500 non-print items, mostly DVD and VHS formats.  It also provides access to over 18,000 streaming titles. The collection is intended to supplement the University of Waterloo's academic curriculum and research needs. Holdings, including streaming assets, can be accessed through the online catalogue.

The Media Library can also provide you with information regarding:

  • Copyright
  • Video streaming
  • Public performance rights
  • Portable equipment
  • Projectionists
  • Fob access for the podiums in the Registrar-controlled electronic classrooms

Students are welcome to view any of our programs in our preview facilities. If you require content for classroom presentations, or assistance with the process, please visit the Media Library in the Mathematics & Computer building (MC).

Students are not allowed to sign out materials to take home.
