Education

BSc Kinesiology Honours Co-op 2020 (University of Waterloo)

Research Interests

  • Soft Tissue Properties
    • The influence of age, sex, and body composition on the thickness, composition, and distribution of the soft tissues overlying the hip and bony pelvis. Findings will inform improved mathematical and mechanical models of sideways falls onto the hip.
  • Impact Biomechanics
    • The influence of soft tissue thickness and composition on fall-related hip fracture risk
    • The influence of flooring surface and impact angle on fall-related head and neck injury.
