 OLIDS\n\nYASUNOBU NAKAMURA\, THE UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO\n\nIn the course of 
 the development of superconducting qubits\, we learned\nthat we can fully 
 control quantum states of selected collective\ndegrees of freedom in super
 conducting circuits. Such collective modes\,\nrigidly extending in a macro
 scopic scale\, strongly couple to\nelectromagnetic fields via their large 
 dipole moments. Moreover\,\nJosephson junctions bring large nonlinearity i
 nto the system without\nadding dissipation.
