 MEJO VEGA\n\nA central question in quantum computation is to identify the 
 resources\nthat are responsible for quantum speed-up. Quantum contextualit
 y has\nbeen recently shown to be a resource for quantum computation with\n
 magic states for odd-prime dimensional qudits and two-dimensional\nsystems
  with real wavefunctions. The phenomenon of state-independent\ncontextuali
 ty poses a priori an obstruction to characterizing the case\nof regular qu
 bits\, the fundamental building block of quantum\ncomputation.
