 iscuss a promising design proposal for a scalable topological\nquantum com
 puter. The qubits are envisioned to be encoded in\naggregates of four or m
 ore Majorana zero modes\, realized at the ends\nof topological superconduc
 ting wire segments that are assembled into\nsuperconducting islands with s
 ignificant charging energy. Quantum\ninformation can be manipulated accord
 ing to a measurement-only\nprotocol\, which is facilitated by tunable coup
 lings between Majorana\nzero modes and nearby semiconductor quantum dots.
