DESCRIPTION:EVAN MEYER-SCOTT\, UNIVERSITÄT PADERBORN \n\nI will present a
  realization of a great photon pair source based on\nparametric down-conve
 rsion\, and discuss a not-so-great limit to the\nperformance of photon pai
 r sources in general. The former is a fully\nfiber-coupled waveguide pair 
 source with 46% raw heralding efficiency\,\nand no optical alignment requi
 red. The latter restricts the achievable\nheralding efficiency\, when spec
 trally filtering the photons to\nincrease the purity.
