DESCRIPTION:ANQI HUANG - IQC\n\nQuantum key distribution (QKD) is able to a
 chieve\ninformation-theoretic security in principle. However\, in practice
 \,\nimperfect devices threaten the security of quantum cryptographic\nsyst
 ems. As a promising countermeasure against practical attacks\,\nmeasuremen
 t-device-independent (MDI) QKD is immune to all detector\nside-channel att
 acks. Nevertheless\, there are some limitations of the\nMDI QKD protocol. 
 To overcome the technical limitations of MDI QKD\, I\nscrutinized and eval
 uated other two countermeasures against imperfect\ndetections.
