SUMMARY:Impact of atomic structure and dynamics on solar cell performance o
 f\nmetal halide perovskite thin films
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:JOSHUA CHOI - UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA\n\nMetal halide perovskite
s (MHPs) are revolutionizing the solar cell\nresearch field - the record p
ower conversion efficiency of MHPs based\nsolar cells has reached 22.7%\,
which rivals that of silicon solar\ncells. What is particularly exciting a
bout MHPs is that they can be\nmanufactured into solar cell devices at low
-costing using low\ntemperature solution processing. Based on these attrib
utes\, MHPs have\nbeen called the “next big thing in photovoltaics” an
d worldwide\nresearch efforts have grown explosively.
