 ating the dynamics of\nHamiltonians that are not necessarily sparse. Our a
 lgorithm is based\non the assumption that the entries of the Hamiltonian a
 re stored in a\ndata structure that allows for the efficient preparation o
 f states\nthat encode the rows of the Hamiltonian. We use a linear combina
 tion\nof quantum walks to achieve a poly-logarithmic dependence on the\npr
 ecision.
