 on School of Computer Science_\n\nWe give a dissipative quantum search alg
 orithm that is based on a\nnovel dissipative query model. If there are $N$
  items and $M$ of them\nare marked\, this algorithm performs a fixed-point
  quantum search using\n$O(\\sqrt{N/M}\\log(1/\\epsilon))$ queries with err
 or bounded by\n$\\epsilon$. In addition\, we present a continuous-time ver
 sion of this\nalgorithm in terms of Lindblad evolution.
