SUMMARY:PhD Seminar • Quantum resistance of the cryptography used in\ntru
 sted-execution environments
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:DHINAKARAN VINAYAGAMURTHY \n\nTrusted-execution environments (T
EE) like Intel SGX provide a promise\nfor practical secure computations on
users' sensitive data in\nuntrusted computing environments like cloud and
blockchains. TEEs are\ndesigned using a combination of hardware enforced
access controls and\ncryptography. While there is extensive research on at
tacking and\nhardening the access control mechanisms\, the advent of quant
um\ncomputers also requires hardening the cryptography used by TEEs for\nt
heir long-term security against quantum adversaries.
