DESCRIPTION:SPONTANEOUS RAMAN EMISSION IN COLD ATOMS INSIDE A HOLLOW-CORE\n
 WAVEGUIDE\n\nTAEHYUN YOON\, INSTITUTE FOR QUANTUM COMPUTING\n\nCold atoms
confined inside hollow-core waveguides enable strong-matter\ninteractions\
, thus offer a unique platform for studies of quantum and\nnon-linear opti
cs. We developed an experimental system that traps\ncesium atoms in a magn
eto optical trap (MOT) and loads these atoms\ninto a hollow core photonic
 crystal fiber using a dipole trap at\ncesium magic wavelength (935 nm)\, w
hich removes the AC-Stark shift of\nthe optical transition and suppresses
 the inhomogeneous broadening.
