SUMMARY:Quantum Obvious Transfer using Coherent States
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:DAVID REICHMUTH\, HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY\n\nOne-out-of-two (1-2
) oblivious transfer is a cryptographic primitive\,\nin which a sender hol
 ds two bits\, x0 and x1\, and a receiver receives\none of them\, in such a
way that the receiver does not know both bits\,\nand the sender does not
know which bit the receiver obtained. While\ninformation-theoretical secur
ity for quantum versions of such\nprotocols is not possible\, it is of int
erest to examine possible\nsecurity bounds\, which previous work has shown
to be set at 0.749 in\n“complete” protocols employing pure symmetric
 states.
