SUMMARY:Transmitting and Teleporting Quantum-Dot Spin States
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:JOHN NICHOL\, UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER\n\nLarge-scale arrays of
electron spins in gate-defined quantum dots have\nemerged as key elements
of spin-based quantum information processors.\nElectron spin qubits natura
lly interact with each other via\nnearest-neighbor exchange coupling. Howe
ver\, a central requirement for\nfault-tolerant quantum computing is the a
bility to transmit quantum\nstates over long distances. In this talk\, we
discuss the experimental\nrealization of two related approaches to overcom
ing this obstacle in\nquantum-dot spin qubits.
