SUMMARY:A platform for cavity quantum electrodynamics with Rydberg atom arr
 ays
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:YU-TING CHEN\, HARVARD UNIVERSITY\n\nIn cavity quantum electrod
ynamics (cavity QED) systems\, the\nrealization of strong coupling between
light and atoms plays a\ncritical role in the study of quantum optics and
entanglement. At the\nsame time\, Rydberg atom arrays provide a promising
  platform for\nexploring quantum many-body physics. However\, with the\nRy
 dberg-mediated interactions\, atoms mainly interact locally. Coupling\nRyd
berg arrays to a cavity opens up new research directions in quantum\nmany-
 body physics with long-range interactions\, creating a fully\nconnected qu
 antum network.
