 LING\nLIMITS\n\nLandau Zener (LZ) transition is a paradigm to describe a w
 ide range of\nphysical phenomenon. Dissipation is inevitable in realistic 
 devices\nand can affect the LZ transition probabilities. I will describe h
 ow we\ncan model the effect of the environment depending on whether it is\
 nweakly or strongly coupled to the system. I will also present our\nexperi
 mental results where we found evidence of crossover from weak to\nstrong c
 oupling limit.
