 nPublicly verifiable quantum money is a protocol for the preparation of\nq
 uantum states that can be efficiently verified by any party for\nauthentic
 ity but is computationally infeasible to counterfeit. We\ndevelop a crypto
 graphic scheme for publicly verifiable quantum money\nbased on Gaussian su
 perpositions over random lattices. We introduce a\nverification-of-authent
 icity procedure based on the lattice discrete\nFourier transform\, and sub
 sequently prove the unforgeability of our\nquantum money under the hardnes
 s of the short vector problem from\nlattice-based cryptography.
