 OLOGIES\n\nA quantum computer attains computational advantage when outperf
 orming\nthe best classical computers running the best-known algorithms on\
 nwell-defined tasks. No photonic machine offering programmability over\nal
 l its quantum gates has demonstrated quantum computational\nadvantage: pre
 vious machines were largely restricted to static gate\nsequences. I will d
 iscuss a quantum computational advantage using\nBorealis\, the latest of X
 anadu’s photonic processors offering\ndynamic programmability and availa
 ble on the cloud. This work is a\ncritical milestone on the path to a prac
 tical quantum computer\,\nvalidating key technological features of photoni
 cs as a platform for\nthis goal.
