DESCRIPTION:USING SYMMETRIES TO IMPROVE QUANTUM DE FINETTI REDUCTIONS\n\nQu
 antum Nano Centre\, 200 University Ave W\, Room QNC 1201\nWaterloo\, ON\,
CA N2L 3G1\n\nThe analysis of quantum information processing protocols for
generic\nstates is challenging. In contrast\, when the states are IID\, i
.e. the\nsame in every round of the protocol\, the analysis greatly simpli
fies.\nde Finetti reductions are important to reduce the analysis of quant
um\ninformation processing tasks to the IID case\, though this reduction\n
has some cost associated with it. In this talk I will describe how\nIID-sy
mmetries can be used to reduce the cost associated with the\nquantum de Fi
netti reductions. \n\nADD EVENT TO CALENDAR \n\nApple [https://www.addeven
