  subject of quantum gravity seeks to understand gravitational\nphysics wit
 hin the framework of quantum mechanics. Increasingly\, tools\nfrom quantum
  information\, complexity\, and cryptography have been\nbrought into this 
 challenging area. Here\, I describe a set of\nconnections between quantum 
 gravity\, specifically the AdS/CFT\ncorrespondence\, and a set of cryptogr
 aphic primitives studied in\ninformation theoretic cryptography and positi
 on-verification. The\ncryptographic perspective provides new insights into
  how gravitational\nphysics can be recorded into quantum mechanics\, and l
 ed to new\ngravitational conjectures in AdS space. These conjectures were 
 then\nproven gravitationally. Conversely\, the gravitational perspective h
 as\nsuggested new relationships among these cryptographic primitives\, and
 \nthese relationships were then proven within quantum cryptography. I\ncom
 ment on some directions this cryptography-gravity relationship may\nlead i
 n the future.
