SUMMARY:Tracial embeddable strategies: Lifting MIP* tricks to MIPco
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:IQC-QUICS MATH CS SEMINAR - JUNQIAO (RANDY) LIN\, CWI\, AMSTERD
 AM\n\nQuantum Nano Centre\, 200 University Ave W\, Room QNC 1201 + ZOOM\nW
 aterloo\, ON\, CA N2L 3G1\n\nTracial embedded strategies are a subset of t
 he commuting operator\nstrategies that\, in a quantum information sense\,
 have many\nsimilarities to a finite-dimensional tensor product strategy. I
n this\ntalk\, I will introduce this set of strategies and sketch the proo
f\nthat this set of strategies can approximate every strategy in the\ncomm
uting operator model. Using this new characterization\, I will\ndiscuss tw
o ingredients for proving MIP*\, robust EPR testing and the\n\"rounding\"
theorem\, and how they can be generalized to hold for MIPco.\nThis talk is
based on the paper arxiv.org/2304.01940 .
