  of my recent research on\nsuperconducting nanostructures for quantum dete
 ction of\nelectromagnetic radiation. In this regard\, electrodynamics of\n
 topological excitations in 1D superconducting nanowires and 2D\nsupercondu
 cting nanostrips is investigated. Topological excitations in\nsuperconduct
 ing nanowires and nanostrips lead to crucial deviation\nfrom the bulk prop
 erties.
