 erant quantum computing is possible by employing quantum\nerror correction
  techniques. In this talk I will describe an\nimplementation of a true qua
 ntum code using 4 lithographically defined\nsuperconducting qubits in a sq
 uare lattice capable of measuring both\ntypes of possible quantum errors o
 ccurring on a single qubit. The\nexperiment requires highly coherent qubit
 s\, high quality quantum\noperations implementing the detecting circuit\, 
 and a high quality\nindependent qubit measurement set-up.
