  be generated by\nperforming local measurements on bipartite quantum syste
 ms. I'll\npresent an algebraic characterization of the set of quantum\ncor
 relations which allows us to identify an easy-to-compute lower\nbound on t
 he smallest Hilbert space dimension needed to generate a\nquantum correlat
 ion. I will then discuss some examples showing the\ntightness of our lower
  bound.
