Paper Review: The quantum pigeonhole principle and the nature of quantum correlations by Y. Aharonov et al., arXiv:1407.3194

"If you put three pigeons in two boxes, at least two of them are bound to end up in the same box." This trivial statement is called the pigeonhole principle and, even though seems so obvious, is the backbone of counting in math. But we all know quantum theory doesn't like to follow our intuition of the nature, and pigeonhole principle is not an exception. Yakir Aharonov et al., in a paper in 2014 have shown that quantum mechanically you can put three pigeons in two boxes but not any two of them will end up in the same box. Their results gives insight into the very nature of separability and correlations in quantum mechanics.
