Information for

Quantum Innovators in computer science and mathematics

September 18-22, 2017

The Quantum Innovators in Computer Science and Mathematics workshop brings together promising young researchers working on theoretical aspects of quantum information and computation in computer science and mathematics. Guests are invited for a four-day conference aimed at exploring the frontier of our field.

The workshop is held at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) at the University of Waterloo.

  • Attendees are postdoctoral fellows or advanced graduate students.
  • Attendees are theorists working on quantum information and related topics.
  • All attendees will give a talk on their research.
  • There is no fee for attendance, accommodations or food. Travel expenses will be covered through the Transformative Quantum Technologies research initiative thanks in part to funding through the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF).
