Quantum Innovators in computer science and mathematics

The application for Quantum Innovators in computer science and mathematics is now open. The deadline to apply is August 1.

October 21 – 24, 2019

The Quantum Innovators in Computer Science and Mathematics workshop brings together promising researchers working on theoretical aspects of quantum information and computation in computer science and mathematics. Guests are invited for a four-day conference aimed at exploring the frontier of our field. The first four-days consist of participants talks and the fifth day is reserved for discussion and meeting with IQC faculty.

The workshop is held at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) at the University of Waterloo.

  • Attendees are theorists working on quantum information and related topics.
  • All attendees will give a talk on their research.
  • There is no fee for attendance, accommodations or food. Travel expenses will be covered through the Transformative Quantum Technologies research initiative thanks in part to funding through the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF).

If you have any questions about the event, please email qinnovators@uwaterloo.ca.
