DESCRIPTION:City University of Hong Kong and the University of Waterloo hav
 e\nlaunched a joint Seed Fund to support up to five collaborative\nproject
 s in health and life science technologies. The program focuses\non researc
 her and trainee mobility\, pilot studies\, and partnership\nbuilding\, wit
 h priority areas including drug discovery\, diagnostics\,\ntherapeutics\, 
 aging technologies\, and nanotechnology-enabled health\nresearch. Each pro
 ject must include one PI from each institution and\nwill receive up to HK$
 100\,000 plus CAD$16\,000–26\,000. Proposals are\ndue January 23\, 2026\
 , with projects running through March 31\, 2027.
