Partnership and Collaboration

International Collaboration

WIN is working towards realizing its vision to be "A Global Centre of Excellence for Nanotechnology and its Applications" by collaborating with world-renowned institutions in nanotechnology.

WIN has signed collaborative agreements with 19 nanotechnology institutes in 10 countries. These agreements have spawned more than 100 collaborative projects, generating funding, graduate and undergraduate training, many publications in referees journals, patents and spin-off companies.

Industrial Partnership

Collaborative partnerships with industry continues to be an important element of WIN's Strategic Plans. WIN has hosted visits, arranged roundtables and convened workshops to help faculty establish connections to industry and develop applications for funding.

The 'Open Innovation' concept provides a means for companies to access key knowledge and innovation via a strong partnership with a university.
