On July 14th, 2015, Macquarie University Sydney will visit the University of Waterloo. Professor John Simons, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, of Macquarie University, will visit to understand Waterloo's practices regarding graduate employability including co-operative education as well as student innovation and entrepreneurship.

Japanese Cafe (Konja Cafe) is a traditional Japanese Cafe that is going to be hosted on July 10, 2015 by the Konnichiwa Japan club (KonJa), one of the many Federation for Students (FEDs) cultural clubs. Konja wishes to promote unique aspects of Japanese culture by showing the UWaterloo community their “Japanese-Styled” cafe and their unique food and drink.

The University of Waterloo Culture and Language Exchange Club is offering several language tutoring sessions over the spring 2015 term. Any Waterloo student is welcome to attend and practise their foreign-language speaking skills with other students. These sessions are free of charge and will be offered weekly until August!
