A successful international work experience requires careful planning for it to be a satisfying and fulfilling experience for you. In an average year, Co-operative Education facilitates ~1000 international co-op work term across 55+ countries. Based on our experience in supporting students with their international aspirations, we have developed some best practices and resources that we would like to share to help you plan your dreams systematically. Experts from the Office of Research will also share their tips on pursuing research experiences abroad. While, currently, the University has restrictions on travelling aboard, the intent of this workshop is to empower you to start planning for the future when travel might be possible as well as to learn how to leverage the value of remote international work experiences.
