International Week

International Week 2020 banner

The University of Waterloo is excited to celebrate International Week on September 21-27, 2020. International education has a significant impact on our campus community and Canadian social, economic and cultural well-being. International Week is a great opportunity to recognize and promote the value of education and collaboration abroad and the importance of internationalization on campus.

Previously held in November, this year International Week will be celebrated at the University of Waterloo earlier based on feedback from students about the event being held too close to midterms.

International Week will highlight both the global cultures and the microcultures at the University of Waterloo through engagement, collaborations, debates, discussions, and an array of activities for students, staff, and faculty held by a variety of campus partners.

Please join us in celebrating our international students, staff and faculty and let’s experience the world together.

Are you hosting an event for International Week? Please contact Aisha Shibli to have your event added to the International Week calendar. We are always looking for ideas, campus partners and students to get involved with this exciting week! To view all of the events occurring during International Week, please visit our events page.

Thank you for supporting International Week events. We – at Waterloo International – look forward to our continued work together to promote internationalization at our campus and abroad.
