Travelling requires careful planning and awareness of the resources available to you. This module will provide you with practical learning regarding travel information, risk and safety, developing your intercultural competency, and information about who to contact in the event of an emergency. The module is designed to address general aspects of international travel. Destination-specific information may be provided by your advisor, program coordinator, or the University's Travel Safety and Security provider.
The module helps you to identify the potential risks of international travel and assists you in developing strategies to mitigate common problems that you may experience abroad.
Please note that you must obtain a final mark of 80% on the quiz at the end of the orientation module and complete the Acknowledgement of Liability Form within the quiz list. These are required in order to embark on your international experience.
To be enrolled in the module, you first need to complete the pre-departure travel form.
