Visit of Chang’An University, China

On Friday, July 22, 2016, a delegation from Chang’An University visited the University of Waterloo to finalize a 2+2 agreement for Geomatics in the Faculty of Environment.

The signing took place after meetings between Chang’An University, Waterloo International, and Faculty of Environment personnel. Ian Rowlands, interim associate vice-president, international and Jean Andrey, dean of Environment, along with Chang’An University Vice-President Junhai Zhao, did the honours of signing the agreement. 

Chang’An University has been a Waterloo partner since May, 2004. Collaborations include an Engineering MOU and 2+2 programs in Science and Geomatics.
