The University of Waterloo has renewed its International Exchange Agreement with Austria’s University of Graz. The agreement signed on Oct. 5 allows students from Waterloo and Graz to continue participating in exchanges, including the opportunity to pursue a co-op position through Graz’s institutional and industry partners.
Based on the successful collaboration that began in 2002, the partnership has benefited both universities by promoting academic activities, building multicultural understanding, encouraging interests, supporting the exchanging of teachers and students, and having the ability to learn from the celebrated programs that make Waterloo and Graz both unique and alike.
The Faculties of Arts, Environment, Mathematics, and Science at Waterloo, and all six faculties at Graz, are involved with the agreement.
By complementing each other’s strengths, the partnership will combine Waterloo’s and Graz’s vision in delivering world-changing research and education that moves us forward.
