Waterloo has an office in Asia’s World City

The University of Waterloo, ranked one of the world’s top 100 universities and best overall university in Canada, opened an office in Hong Kong in 2011 to strengthen ties with the community. The office serves as a hub for alumni relations, co-op initiatives and student recruitment. 

Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China and a leading business center that helps drive the world economy. Waterloo, with the world's largest post-secondary co-operative education program, embraces its global connections and encourages partnerships in learning, research and discovery.
