We welcome visiting delegations from established and prospective partner institutions worldwide.
Visits with University-wide scope
Waterloo International is the central office providing co-ordination for visiting delegations at a University level. To help you experience a productive visit at Waterloo, we ask that you please complete our delegation request form providing as much detail as possible. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.
If you wish to visit a single faculty, academic department, research unit, or professional school, please contact the appropriate unit directly.

Parking for external visitors:
There are designated visitor parking spots reserved for Waterloo International guests. Please email us with the following information prior to your arrival:
- Name of the Waterloo International staff member you are meeting with
- Date, time, and duration you will need parking
- Make, model, and colour of your car
Please note, you must receive an email from us confirming the reservation of your parking spot before your arrival.
Parking for internal visitors:
East Campus 1 is located in Q lot which is reserved for Q lot parking pass holders only. Parking services patrols this lot regularly and will ticket or tow anyone without a valid Q lot parking permit.
If internal visitors wish to drive, they must pay for parking. There are parking meters near our building in Q lot:
- The coin operated parking meters charge $2/hr for parking
- The pay and display daily parking meter charges $5/day payable by credit card, Watcard, or coins
