At 2017’s WatITis, presenter Kevin Paxman stood up in front of everyone and said that a Drupal 8 pilot site was targeted for early 2018, that the aim was to be ready for new site requests sometime in the second half of 2018, and that migration development was targeted for late 2018. While none of that timeline was set in stone, none of it happened, either. So…whatever happened to Drupal 8?
Bio: : Kevin Paxman has been with the University since 2001. Before joining IST, he was responsible, through the Graphics department, for many of the custom developed web systems on campus. Since joining IST, he has been responsible for making many of them obsolete. He is currently the lead developer for the WCMS.
