The Katzenback group welcomes a visiting scholar!

The Katzenback group welcomes Charley Peitzmeier!

Charley is a visiting scholar from University College London and is currently on leave from her Masters of Undergraduate Science degree in order to pursue a 10 month research opportunity in the Katzenback lab. Charley will be working on wood frog innate immune defence mechanisms.

The Katzenback lab welcomes Steven Buckrell, William (Alex) Ng and Samuel (Sam) Salamun to the lab!

Steven, Alex and Sam are doing their honours thesis projects in the Katzenback lab over the Fall 2016/Winter 2017 semesters.

The Katzenback group welcomes a new graduate student!

The Katzenback lab welcomes Quinn Abram to the lab!

Quinn is co-supervised by Dr. Brian Dixon and Dr. Barb Katzenback and will be researching the impact of cold stress on the molecular workings of the antigen presentation pathway in teleosts for his MSc thesis.

The Katzenback lab welcomes Maxwell Bui-Marinos to the lab!

Maxwell is doing his MSc graduate degree and will build on his honours thesis work examining the host-pathogen interactions between Xenopus laevis skin epithelial cell lines and Frog virus 3 (FV3).

2016 Canadian Society of Zoologists meeting

Maxwell Bui-Marinos presented his work on Xenopus skin cell lines and their susceptibility to infection with Frog virus 3 (FV3) at the Canadian Society of Zoologists (CSZ) meeting held in London, Ontario. Great talk Max!
