Wednesday, June 24, 2020 — 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM EDT
Audience: Course instructors
In this workshop we will introduce Open Textbooks, what they are and how you can use them in your course. Key points we will discuss are the following:
- Key Canadian and international repositories for open textbooks
- How to navigate open textbook repositories
- When you can customize open textbooks to fit your instructional needs
We will have time for questions during the webinar, but if you have any in advance please feel free to share them with presenter Carmen Peters, Liaison Librarian for Philosophy and Fine Arts, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration is required. The University has a new registration system called GoSignMeUp. Before you can register for a workshop, you need to create an account (one time only). Once you've created an account, you can register for this workshop.
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
