Audience: Teaching Assistants
Duration: 1.5 hours
This 1.5hr hands-on workshop will introduce TAs to LEARN (from Desire2Learn), our course management system for presenting course activities and resources in spring term courses. By the end of this session, TAs will be able to use the D2L environment to communicate with students, have basic knowledge of the tools available within D2L, and enter grades. TAs should be enrolled in the course they will be working in with the appropriate permissions, and should know the sorts of tasks that they will be asked to complete in that course to make best use of their time in the session.
This session will be offered remotely through Bongo Virtual Classrooms in LEARN. Registrants will receive instructions on how to access the course in LEARN on the morning of the session. This session will be recorded and made available for viewing at a future date.
Registration is required. CTE has a new registration system called GoSignMeUp. Before you can register for a workshop, you need to create an account (one time only). Once you've created an account, you can register for this workshop.
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
