Convocation is a special time for our graduates to celebrate their achievements with family and friends. AHS graduands are invited to a special celebratory breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in B.C. Matthews Hall, with convocation ceremonies beginning in the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) at 10 a.m.
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences will be hosting the second annual AHS Graduate Student Research Conference on May 2, 2013. The conference is an opportunity to highlight the breadth and the excellence of the graduate student research being conducted across the faculty. It will provide a forum for graduate students to present their research to faculty, students and other expert colleagues.

The University of Waterloo Brain Bee, hosted by the Department of Kinesiology, is a competition for students in grades 9 through 12 in the Region of Waterloo. Competitors answer questions about the brain and neuroscience, with the winner proceeding to the national brain bee competition.
